81,000 sign up to create new political party

PANAMA’S LATEST fledgling political party has signed up 81,000 members and will apply on Monday for full certification.

he Broad Front for Democracy (FAD), reported Saturday, June 15, that on Monday they will go to the Electoral Tribunal (TE) .

According to FAD, they have exceed 4% of eligible voters required by the Election Code to be recognized as a political collective.
They began collecting signatures on August 17, 2011.
"In 57 days of this year 2013 the FAD got more than 58.000 Panamanian signatures", adds the note.
