Gang shootout kills one near Club Union

A GUN BATTLE between two rival gangs near Panama’s elite Club Union in Punta Paitilla, left one dead on Friday afternoon, June 21.

According to preliminary reports from the National Police the person who was killed was driving a white vehicle, from the El Chorrillo neighborhood.

There were at least 35 shots according to the authorities. The shooters, according to preliminary versions were traveling by motorcycle.
Police investigations are continuing and this story will be expanded when more details are available.
