Child dead and city havoc in freak storm

A FIVE YEAR OLD child died, power to a hospital was cut off, homes and businesses flooded and cars damaged in a heavy downpour accompanied by gale force winds in Panama on Monday May 24.

In different regions of the country trees roofs were lifted, trees uprooted and streets flooded in several sectors, mainly in the capital city.
