PRD mayoral candidate hints at alliances

THE PRD candidate for the post of mayor of Panama City, José Luis Fábrega, said Wednesday, July 3, that he knows what he needs to do to win in the 2014  election.

"We know what we have to do, we are backed by a group of representatives of our own and other parties who have asked us to be discrete," said Fabrega.
He said he envisions a win for both him and PRD presidential candidate Juan Carlos Navarro."The PRD has a promising future,"
He does not know who is opponents will be as the Panameñista and CD parties have yet to select their candidates but there is no shortage of hopefuls, including sitting mayor Roxana Mendez and a former TV presenter running on an environmental ticket.
