Arias aides jump the gun
IMAGES of tickets for the Panama-Jamaica World Cup qualifying game on Friday September 6 with the message “JOSEPH DOMINGO ARIAS – PRESIDENT” are circulating on social networks.
The Twitter image reveals two complimentary tickets for the game but the Panamanian Football Federation (Fepafut) said Thursday, September 5, that the presidential “candidate” of the ruling Democratic Change, José Domingo Arias, was sold a package of tickets to the Concacaf game at Rommel Fernandez Stadium.
In a statement, Fepafut claims that they do not issue tickets and that is handled by the company Ticket Plus. " We want to clarify that this transaction is paid and is in no case a gift…
"When purchasing tickets that candidate’s aides asked Ticket Plus to print a customized message. Our federation was not consulted about this.”
