Calle Uruguay gun battle injures univolved resident

A GUN BATTLE between rival gangs on Calle Uruguay,Bella Vista, the heart of Panama’s disco world, sent a non-involved woman to hospital in the early hours of Thursday, December 26.

The woman was wounded in the body while sitting in her apartment when the shooting began in the and was rushed to Santo Tomas Hospital. Her name was not released.

Police sources said rival gang members, were already captured. The incident led to heavy traffic jams in the area.
