New website to educate public on candidates’ positions
A WEBSITE designed to measure the knowledge of voters about the presidential candidates was launched on Friday February 14.
The campaign is called "Test the citizens for an informed vote," and is managed by The Foundation for the Development of Free Citizens lt aims at educating the public about the positions of the candidates so they can make an informed decision.
It includes a test composed of fifteen questions, which was distributed today in a leaflet inserted in La Prensa and Mi Diario.
It is also trying to ensure that more people vote in the election.
As part of the launch of the web site, a caravan sponsored by the Embassy of Canada will take place Sunday to raise awareness of the site.
