Interpol nabs drug suspect wanted in France

INTERPOL in Panama have arrested a 29-year-old Colombian wanted in France on multiple drug related charges.

Interpol agents carried out the arrest at Tocumen International Airport. The suspect was captured while traveling from Colombia to Costa Rica. The date of the arrest was not specified.

He faces 10 years in prison on charges of the "import, acquisition and supply of narcotic drugs, among others", said the police.
Interpol will now seek to have the suspect extradited.
