SILENCE descended on the website of the Presidency of Panama on Saturday May 17 which, according to a message on the portal is in maintenance,

Users can enter the site, but when they access the individual sections they encounter a notice that says "We are in maintenance, we apologize for the inconvenience."

The website has activities and announcements of the president as well as ministers of state and the first lady. There are also reports of the cabinet and press releases issued by the presidency.
