Police lieutenant gunned down in Pedregal

A NATIONAL Police lieutenant was shot and killed on, Sunday morning June 15, during an incident in the "The Bronx", San Joaquin, Pedregal.

According to police reports Lt. Juan Reyes, was called to a disturbance at a fonda  but was shot by several suspects, when he arrived.

He was transferred to JJ Vallarino Juan Diaz, Polyclinic but died a few minutes after arriving at the medical center.

Police tightened security in the area and mounted several operations to locate the whereabouts of the attackers, but so far no arrests reports La Prensa.
