SENDING your children back to a private school next year will mean digging deeper into your pocket or purse according to a study by Panama’s Consumer Protection Authority.
Payments will increase by up to $ 500 in annuities and $ 104 in tuition.
The survey of 43 schools was based on prices before enrolling their acudidos (students).
It comes at a time when the government has announced a long awaited $300 a month increase in salaries for public schools, which could put additional pressure on private schools.
The National Association of Private Educational Centers issued a statement criticizing of 43 schools audit action Acodeco’s audit without the 2015 school calendar.
