Varela promises education a priority
EDUCATION will continue to be a priority during the administration of President Juan Carlos Varela he announced Monday, October 6 when participating in the first payments of universal scholarships, the first since he authorized the increase of the award.

He emphasized that he will continue to work to improve the quality of education in the country with the launch of projects such as the construction of a Superior Technical Institute, the creation of bilingual institutes and the “My First School” program.
About $53 million will be distributed in scholarships to 500,000 students at both public and private schools. The scholarships are $270 for primary students, $360 for intermediate students and $450 for secondary students
