Search for remains of Dutch tourists to resume
THE SEARCH for more skeletal remains of two young Dutch women tourists, Lisanne Froon,21, and Kris Kremers, 22, will be resumed on January 12 at the request of the Dutch Embassy and the families of both girls.
Froon and Kremers disappeared in April after leaving a hostel in Boquete and parts of their remains were found in August by indigenous community of Alto Romero.
First superior Prosecutor Bethsaida Pittí, said the tour to find remains of the young Dutch will be from January 12 to 16..
“Parents want to find new bones and on January 10 four dogs and their four guides come from Holland to join the search,” he said.
Pittí said he met with the director of the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences, Humberto Mas, who will provide them a forensic anthropologist, biologist and forensic personnel.
The Boquete rumor mill carries talk of murders, but Pitti says that due to the evidence the prosecution already has the the coroners cannot talk about murder.
She added that she will continue investigating and collecting evidence.
