Rivera Jr, selected in Major League Draft
PANAMANIAN college pitcher Mariano Rivera Jr, 21 year old son of New York Yankees legendary closer Mariano Rivera,, was selected by the Washington Nationals in a Major League draft on Thursday, June 9.
The selection process for university and college players, met Thursday for the second day and the right-hander was selected in the fourth round.
