Government Press boss calls it a day

JOURNALIST Castalia Pascual,  has resigned as Communications Undersecretary of State, to return to  the private sector.

“It was a great experience to have served my country during this period in the government of President Varela I’m sure that will strengthen me as a journalist,” said a press release.

Pascual began her duties as Secretary of State Communications July 1, 2014 with the responsibility of organizing and coordinating the Presidency media team

She  also organized  the  media planning  for the VII Summit of the Americas in Panama in April this year.

Pascual finished her  official duties on Tuesday  September15, 2015.

She  will return to TVN  Channel 2, where she was  working when she decided to join the government team of Juan Carlos Varela.
