Failed bus-strike leader arrested

THE FORMER Metro Bus Operators Union Secretary General, Antenor Guadamuz, was arrested on Nonday morning, November 9  for trying to prevent buses from leaving the agency’s La Doña headquarters.

The arrest was confirmed by Minister of Government Milton Henríquez who described the ation as “an act of vandalism.”

Guadamuz and eight drivers tried to prevent the departure of the buses by trying to block the exit  in a failed  endeavor to get other drivers to support a strike he had called for Monday.

He was taken into custody and bus service was not impacted.
