Air Europa launches Madrid-Panama flights
AIR EUROPA , A Spanish airline owned by Spanish tourism group Globalia made its first flight from Madrid to Tocumen International Airport on Friday December 4.
It will make, a weekly flight between Panama and the Spanish capital until March 2016, while it weighs up its options for the future.
Joseph Fidanque III, manager of Tocumen SA, said the airline will start with a charter flight , carryring up to 299 passengers, while performing studies to establish a regular frequency to Panama.
The company is interested in connecting four times a week Spain and Panama, but is awaiting the results of the feasibility study.
In addition to Air Europa, British Virgin Airlines is also in the study phase to connect the city of London to Tocumen.
