MEDIA WATCH: Poisonous mixture of demagogy and tyranny

THE FORMER president and now deputy of the Central American Parliament is now “in absentia”. This was stated by the Judge of Warranties in the wiretapping case at the end of yesterday’s hearing. After all sorts of maneuvers, excuses and delays, the Panamanian justice moved towards finding the material truth in a criminal cases, in which at least 150 people lost their privacy and saw their dignity flouted for evil purposes and paranoid persecution.
He played with their personal lives, business secrets,and family secrets, and terror was used as a weapon of psychological domination. The man sworn to defend the Constitution and the Law today is evading justice. He and his henchmen have tried to wrap themselves in the mantle of political persecution, as if it were an isthmus Leopoldo Lopez,[in Venezuela] when in reality it has been a poisonous mixture of demagogy and tyranny. The story is clear and the world knows it.
