Schoolbags fraud defendant gets exit permit

POULETT MORALES, the Marbella boutique owner awaiting trial  for  alleged cost overruns in the sale of school bags through the National Assistance Program (PAN), has been granted permission to leave the country  for “health business”

She was moved from preventive detention to country arrest after posting $100,000, bail  on October 15 last year.  She had been behind bars  since June 3. She was hospitalized from August to November at the National Hospital.

Her lawyer Giovanni Olmos, said she will be abroad “two or three days” this week for “health business,”. He did not elaborate reports La Prensa,
