Albrook migrants get medical care

MIGRANTS stranded  at the Albrook bus terminal  got general health care and vaccinations on Tuesday, August 16 says the  The Ministry of Health.

Scores of  ctizens of  Cuba, Haiti and some African countries have been living in the terminal, raising concerns about their health and safety and the possible spread of diseases  said Metropolitan Health Director Aureligio Rangel.

Many of them had received earlier medical attention when they arrived in through the Darién from Colombia.

Earlier, some 100 left the bus station bound for Costa Rica. Their ultimate destination is the United States, but Costa Rican authorities have been returning migrants to Panama.
