Copa suspends operations on Sunday
Copa Airlines announced on Friday, March 20 that they temporarily suspend their operations from next Sunday, March 22 at 11:59 pm for at least 30 days.
This decision is made after the Government of Panama will order the suspension of all national and international flights for a period of one month, as part of the measures to stop the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
A company statement that once this period has ended, they hope to resume operations on April 22,
“ At Copa Airlines we understand and support the decision of the Government of Panama. Nothing is more important than the health and well-being of Panama and the countries we serve, from the Hub of the Americas ” said Pedro Heilbron president of Panama’s flagship airline.
