Clinical trials of Trump-touted drug to resume
The World Health Organization says that clinical trials of the drug , which US President Trump claims to be taking, will resume, after being suspended for a safety review in the search for coronavirus treatments.
“On the basis of available mortality data, the executive group will communicate to leading researchers that they can resume trials with hydroxychloroquine,” WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced in a press conference call on Wednesday, June 3.
