Crackdown on  bad parking, noisy bars 

Noise polluters in commercial establishments who exceed  permitted  decibel standards and businesses and individuals who block sidewalks and streets  will face a crackdown with “substantial” increases in fines said Panama mayor José Luis Fábrega, at a Monday, July 22 press conference

Fábrega said that the measure will be carried out with the objective that ” all Panamanians can live together in harmony.”

Another justification for increasing  the number of sanctions is that in the past the fines were applied, but the owners of the shops continued to violate the rules because the fines were outdated
