Lunch with Warren Buffett for $19 million
An unidentified person will pay 19 million dollars to have lunch with the American billionaire Warren Buffett after winning the last annual auction to benefit an NGO that helps the homeless in San Francisco.
The bids were opened last Sunday with a base price of $25,000 and closed Friday night at $19 million, online trading firm eBay reported.
The donor will be kept anonymous. He will spend “an unforgettable afternoon” with Buffet and seven other guests at the Smith & Wollensky Steakhouse restaurant in New York.
In the previous edition of this event, before the pandemic, an American businessman paid $4.6 million to have lunch with Buffet.
