Electrical storm closes Tocumen International Airport
Operations at Tocumen International Airport were suspended on Tuesday, September 27, due to the electrical storm that has been recorded since early morning.
Tocumen, S.A., reported that the flights that were scheduled to land in the area will be diverted to the Panama Pacifico airport, in West Panama.
They will also be diverted to other “alternate airports” while weather conditions improve, the entity added on its Twitter social network account.
