Two children dead four adults injured in rainstorm accident

 

 An accident that occurred during a rainstorm Sunday, June 25 in the town of Caizán, in the district of Renacimiento, Chiriquí, claimed the lives of two children and injured four adults.

The first investigations indicate that the pick-up rolled on the uneven road and then collided with a fixed object (culvert).

As a result of the accident, a child under 14 years of age died at the scene and a child under one year and eight months died at the Misa-Capsi de Volcán.

Four people, all adults, Prisilla Aviles, Katherine Sánchez, Steysie Rodríguez, and Yeisin Milagros were injured, and taken to the Rafael Hernández hospital to receive medical attention.

The latest tragedy brings the highway death toll so far this year to 188
