Five people were injured by firearms
Five people were injured by firearms in a clandestine parking lot party during the early hours of Sunday, July 16, in the Don Bosco Corregimiento, Las Acacias neighborhood.
The National Police authorities moved to the Las Acacias sector, where investigations are being carried out to identify and capture those responsible for the violent incident.
Deputy Commissioner Francisco Mela, Chief of the Don Bosco Police Zone, reported that a group of people were in the clandestine parking lot consuming alcoholic beverages when the altercation occurred.
According to preliminary reports, during the clandestine meeting, there was a discussion that quickly escalated, leading to the bringing up of firearms. As a result, five individuals, including a minor under the age of 17, were shot.
The arrival of the National Police at the place was made difficult by the denial of access to the residential area. However, with the collaboration of the Public Ministry, they managed to enter and arrest the owner of the house where the illegal event was taking place.
The authorities call on the public to avoid participating in this type of clandestine activities, since they usually end in tragedies with injuries and even fatalities. In addition, anyone with relevant information about the case is requested to approach the authorities to help clarify the facts and bring those responsible to justice.
