Heat alert until Tuesday – will feel like mid-forties

 

The maximum temperatures will reach 34 degrees Celsius and the thermal sensation will rise to 41 degrees, reported Emanuel Velásquez, a meteorologist at the Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology of Panama (Imhpa).

For this reason, the entity issued a surveillance notice that will be in force from this Saturday, August 26, until Tuesday, August 29.

According to Vásquez, currently, there are favorable atmospheric conditions to keep the environment mostly dry and between hot and very hot, generating a high thermal sensation both during the day and at night.

With a windshield factor of 41° to 54°C there are chances of a person suffering from heat stroke, heat cramps, and heat exhaustion. You also have a high chance of suffering from heat stroke.
