Making History by Being the First Panamanian in a WWE Tryout is ‘Crush’.
Crush has had the opportunity to wrestle in Colombia, Costa Rica, and Panama. The Panamanian participated in a WWE tryout in Chile, along with more than 15 wrestlers from Chile, Brazil, Argentina and Peru.
Panamanian wrestler Crush made history for national wrestling by becoming the first representative of the country to participate in a WWE tryout , held in Santiago, Chile on September 11 and 12, 2026. The presence of the Panamanian athlete in these events, organized as part of the company’s visit to the region and its presentation at the Movistar Arena , positions him as one of the main exponents of the Panamanian independent circuit on the international stage.
Crush, 28 years old and with 11 years of professional experience, was part of a select group of talents that included Chilean wrestlers such as Roma, JaviStar, Dylan Fabrizio, Joel, Joseph, Eric Fox, Zack Over, Jin Kyle, and Jadel. They were joined by international competitors like Brazilian Allan Sales, Peruvian Farid Vidal, and Argentinians Ángel del Toro and MKO.
During the tryout, the participants underwent a series of evaluations designed to measure their potential within the WWE structure. Among the aspects analyzed were physical performance, in- ring work, on-camera communication skills, stage presence, and responsiveness to the coaching staff’s instructions.
