A Foreigner was Killed Inside his Car in Rio Hato Panama.
An unidentified man was shot and killed inside an abandoned gray vehicle in El Rincón de Río Hato, Coclé. Two armed and hooded men fled into a wooded area.
Panama – A man, allegedly a foreigner, still unidentified, was shot to death inside a gray vehicle with license plate EU6472, which was left abandoned in the El Rincón de Río Hato sector, in the province of Coclé. Rio Hato is near resorts such as the Decameron and Playa Blanca. The alert was received by the National Police (PN) through a telephone call in the Citizen Attention room of the Rio Hato police station, where it was indicated that the victim was ambushed by two hooded subjects who came out of a pasture. Police units responding to the scene found the lifeless body of a man inside the car. He was wearing a cream-colored sweater and red shorts. The body had multiple gunshot wounds.
The National Police also located several people at the site, who reported that two armed and hooded men had gone into a nearby wooded area after the incident. Following an operation, two suspects were apprehended in an alley in El Chirú: one with a light brown complexion, wearing a red and gray jacket, black shorts, and flip-flops. The second suspect has a dark complexion; he was wearing a gray sweater, shorts, and flip-flops. In addition, the officers also recovered a firearm, allegedly used in the homicide. With this new crime, the number of homicides recorded in the province of Coclé this year has reached 16.
