Karin Abdul Quintero Edwards, included among the most wanted for drug-related crimes, was apprehended in Almirante, Bocas del Toro.
The National Police reported the arrest of Karin Abdul Quintero Edwards, who was on the list of the most wanted for crimes related to international drug trafficking. The capture took place in the district of Almirante, province of Bocas del Toro, as a result of the proceedings carried out by the authorities.
According to information provided by the National Police, Quintero Edwards is allegedly linked to a case that occurred last year in the Ojo de Agua sector of Almirante. In that operation, authorities seized 59 rectangular packages containing an illicit substance. The investigation seeks to determine the responsibility of the people allegedly involved in this incident.
Quintero Edwards was apprehended in the Almirante district, where he was located by units of the National Police. Following his arrest, he will have to face the corresponding legal process before the judicial authorities. The National Police reiterated that it is maintaining actions aimed at locating people wanted by the authorities for their alleged involvement in drug trafficking-related crimes.
