51 Children and Adolescents are Available for Adoption in Panama through SENNIAF
The National Secretariat for Children, Adolescents and Families reported that, currently, 36 families have been declared suitable to adopt, after fulfilling the evaluation, training and preparation stages established by national legislation. Of that total, 31 are from national families and five are from international families. To date, 51 children and adolescents are eligible for adoption and may be considered for placement in an adoptive home, in accordance with established procedures and always prioritizing their best interests. The institution also detailed that it provides continuous guidance to those interested in the process, who must comply with the requirements and the different corresponding phases to ensure that the procedure is carried out responsibly, transparently and in accordance with current regulations.
