The War Between Russia and Ukraine: Foreign Ministry Reports 24 Citizens Linked and Nine are Missing in Action
Deputy Minister Carlos Guevara Mann reported that the institution has identified 19 Panamanians linked to the Russian Armed Forces and five linked to those of Ukraine.
The Foreign Ministry has raised to 24 the number of Panamanian citizens it is aware of in connection with the war between Russia and Ukraine. The official registry includes cases of Panamanians who have disappeared since October 2025, others whose whereabouts remain unknown, and at least one confirmed death, reflecting the growing scale of this phenomenon in the country.
