Gustavo Pérez, one of the former directors of the National Security Council (CSN) sentenced to 50 months in prison for the wiretapping case, appeared on a work tour of the National Secretariat for Children, Adolescents and Families (Senniaf) as a “security advisor”. “We have brought in a security advisor to inspect the area and tell us what measures to take to protect and secure it, and thus be able to control the issue of escapes,” Cárdenas said in a video that Senniaf released on social media.
Gustavo Pérez accompanied the general director of Senniaf, Lilibeth Cárdenas, to the facilities of the CAI in Tocumen, a week after the shelter reported the escape of a group of teenagers.
