Strengthening the Public Force’s Capabilities with New Certifications in Instruction and Emergency Response

With the aim of strengthening the capabilities and skills of its human talent, the National Directorate of Teaching, through the Center for Police Training and Specialization (Cecaespol), successfully completed the Diploma for Trainer of Instructors of Police Tactics and Shooting Range, as well as the Basic Emergency Response Unit Course.

In total, 41 units were trained, distributed among 30 from the National Police, 5 from the Institutional Protection Service (SPI), and 5 from the National Border Service (SENAFRONT). This training not only strengthens the tactical skills of the instructors but also ensures that crowd control units have personnel specialized in primary care and first aid, increasing the effectiveness and safety of police operations.

The completion of these programs yielded highly satisfactory results, reflected in comprehensive evaluations that combined tactical rigor and technical precision. Participants in the Instructor Training Diploma program demonstrated mastery of teaching methodologies and advanced firing line management, while graduates of the Basic Emergency Response Unit Course achieved proficiency in first aid and hemorrhage control certifications.  With this, the Security Institutions reaffirm their commitment to protecting life and order with professionalism and expertise.
