Panama Police Arrest Suspected Femicide Perpetrator in La Chorrera

Through a search warrant in the El Progreso sector in the district of La Chorrera, the National Police and the Public Ministry apprehended a person wanted for the crime against life and personal integrity in its form of femicide.  The incident under investigation occurred on February 19, 2026, where a woman who was listed as the detainee’s romantic partner lost her life.  The man was transferred for the corresponding procedures under orders of the Homicide and Femicide Prosecutor’s Office of West Panama.
