Panama Students Return to Classes on March 2nd 2026

The school year begins on March 2nd in both the public and private school systems, where more than 876,000 students will be enrolled. According to the Ministry of Education (Meduca), 99.5% of schools will be open, while 13 educational centers will not be able to open. There are still teachers out on strike.
