Parades in Panama for Christmas 2025
Panama’s most populated districts will have their Christmas parades this Sunday and next, in a Christmas atmosphere that is already felt in the streets and sidewalks of these districts. This afternoon, starting at 3:00 pm, the capital city parade began on Calle 50, a location chosen by Mayor Mayer Mizrachi, as it was also held there last year.

The Christmas parade began at the corner of Calle Uruguay and extended to the corner of Calle 76, in the township of San Francisco. The event includes 30 Christmas floats, 92 delegations, 3 international bands, 10 cultural associations, 20 invited children’s community groups, and 9,000 artists including characters, entertainers, and dancers. The subway, which operates until 10:00 pm on Sundays, will have a special schedule until midnight to help people returning home from the parade.

San Miguelito
The San Miguelito parade will take place next Sunday, December 21, starting at 4:00 p.m. It will proceed along the Transístmica highway, from the Pan de Azúcar metro station to the traffic light at the entrance to the Los Andes No. 2 residential complex. Mayor Irma Hernández announced that there will be floats from private companies and public institutions, independent and school bands, areas for entrepreneurs, and a children’s entertainment area. The consumption of alcoholic beverages and the sale and use of fireworks are prohibited along the designated parade routes.
