Naval Air Service Finds Suspected Drugs On a Ship From the United States
Air and Naval Units detect a vessel with three packages of suspected drugs at a Pacific Port Terminal. This was located at a Pacific Port terminal in the province of Panama.
The illicit substance was in a hidden compartment on a ship coming from Charleston, United States, with a stop in Panama and ending in Australia. This was located at a Pacific Port terminal in the province of Panama. This operation was carried out through intelligence; verification and profiling on board the vessel, locating the packages in the stern of the vessel’s structure.
Subsequently, coordination was carried out with the Drug Prosecutor’s Office of the province of Panama, to carry out the verification and counting procedures. Naval Aviation reports that this year, 2025, it has seized 56,281 packages of illicit substances through 125 operations.
