Ricardo Martinelli Warns the Panama Public About a Fraudulent Investment Using his Image

Former President Ricardo Martinelli warned that the video is fake. Through his Instagram account, Martinelli indicated that a person uploaded the video, which he does not know, and has nothing to do with.

Former President Ricardo Martinelli warned on Monday about a video circulating on social media that uses his image to promote a supposed investment platform.  Through his Instagram account, Martinelli indicated that a person uploaded the video, which he does not know and has nothing to do with.  “It is a fraud or scam for which I take no responsibility due to its false content,” the former president warned.

He added that the video was created using artificial intelligence.  The fake material claims that thousands of Panamanians over 40 are leaving their jobs and retiring early thanks to the supposed launch of a financial platform supported by the National Government.   They also invite you to invest $100 with the promise of earning $2,000 per week, information that is completely false.
