In the Last 24 Hours in Panama 223 people Were Arrested Nationwide
Under the Firmness Plan, in the last 24 hours, the National Police apprehended 223 people and seized three firearms, in operational actions at the national level. Of the arrests, 122 were made ex officio, 89 for administrative offenses, eight in flagrante delicto, and four for micro-trafficking. Sixteen search warrants were executed; 137 rounds of ammunition and B/.25.00 in cash were seized, and one vehicle was recovered. In terms of traffic violations, 1,102 tickets were issued for various infractions, including 117 for speeding, 74 for improper lighting, 30 for driving under the influence, and 25 for expired driver’s licenses. Additionally, 104 vehicles were towed.
