Christmas lights switched on along the Cinta Costera. The Coastal Strip will be illuminated along with more than 20 parks in the 26 districts of Panama.

Panama City: The Christmas lights switch-on is just hours away, and several locations throughout the district will shine brightly. Magical universes, Jurassic worlds, and themed decorations transform the city into a perfect setting for capturing incredible photos and creating unforgettable family memories.  This Sunday, November 30, the official Christmas lighting ceremony will take place in various locations throughout the capital district, with simultaneous activities and lighting displays in 26 locations, including parks and avenues.

If you wish to attend in person, the main event will take place at the Anayansi fountain on the Cinta Costera, where the simultaneous lighting will be carried out at 6:00 pm at all points decorated by the Municipality of Panama.  This year, the “City of Stars 2025” International Christmas Festival will feature multiple festivities and activities throughout the month of December.  In addition, six parks will remain decorated for a full year and will receive constant maintenance.
