Panama’s President Mulino Travels to Costa Rica to Strengthen Trade and Cooperation Ties
The President of the Republic, José Raúl Mulino, will travel this Friday to the Republic of Costa Rica for an official visit with his counterpart, Rodrigo Chaves Robles, in order to strengthen diplomatic, commercial and cooperation relations. The central point of the official visit will be a private meeting between the two leaders, which will take place in the Las Musas Hall of the National Theater, in the city of San José. The agenda of activities also includes President Mulino being decorated with the Juan Mora Fernández National Order by the Costa Rican president. The Panamanian presidential couple is also scheduled to sign the book of distinguished visitors.
While the official agenda meetings are taking place, the Panamanian first lady and her Costa Rican counterpart, Signe Zeikate, will head to the National Museum to fulfill an alternate agenda. At midday, both presidents and their teams will share a lunch at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they will take the opportunity to hold an expanded meeting with their respective working teams. President Chaves’ team will consist of Arnoldo André Tinoco, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship; Manuel Tovar Rivera , Minister of Foreign Trade; Víctor Carvajal Porras , Minister of Agriculture and Livestock; and Lydia Peralta Cordero , Vice Minister of Bilateral Affairs and Cooperation. The return of the Panamanian delegation is scheduled for the afternoon of the same day.
