DIJ Recovers State-Owned Truck That Was To Be Registered With Altered Documents

The National Police, through the Judicial Investigation Directorate, recovered a truck that, upon inspection, showed alterations to its engine and documents.  The vehicle was undergoing procedures for data updating and municipal transfer, so it was taken to the DIJ’s Auto Theft Section for inspection, where irregularities were detected, confirming that it was state property.  In coordination with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the vehicle is being impounded to clarify the facts and determine responsibility.
