The President of the Republic, José Raúl Mulino, announced that the second People’s Store of the Agricultural Marketing Institute (IMA) will soon be inaugurated at the Frigo facilities in San Antonio, on Tocumen Highway.

Mulino emphasized that this new store will have 14 cash registers and air conditioning to provide greater comfort to shoppers.

The initiative seeks to offer quality food at affordable prices, ensuring food security and supporting local producers.

According to the IMA, the official opening is scheduled for next Friday. It was also announced that other stores will soon open in the towns of Río Hato, Aguadulce, and Las Tablas.  This strategy is part of a broader plan to facilitate access to basic products in various regions of the country, benefiting thousands of Panamanian families.
