‘If you look for me you’ll find me’ is the warning from Ricardo Martinelli to a Former Minister

According to Martinelli, he is an “artist who dreamed of politics,” and during his tenure there were indications of fraud and misuse of public funds.

Former President Ricardo Martinelli launched strong accusations against a former minister for a potential financial loss of more than $4 million in contracts with international companies.  According to Martinelli, he is an “artist who dreamed of politics,” and during his tenure there were indications of fraud and misuse of public funds.  However, the former president revealed that he did not file a lawsuit because a “friend,” then a director, asked him to let him pass because he was a national icon.  “The result: impunity adorned with applause,” the former president said in a message posted on his X account.  According to Martinelli, that same voice now wants to teach lessons in ethics, social justice, and public morality.

“From the comfortable perch of cultural privilege, without taking any responsibility for what he left behind.  He has no authority.  He didn’t earn it.  It wasn’t given to him at the polls,” he added.  Martinelli emphasized that he hasn’t forgotten, and if that former minister insists on provoking and attacking him from this former ministers protected platform, he will force him to dust off everything he kept quiet out of politeness.  “Don’t confuse decency with weakness. Don’t keep touching the wrong things. If you do, there will be no silence this time,” he warned.  Martinelli added: “Each person should own their own story. But those with unfinished business should not come to collect moral scores from others, because if you look for me, you will find me.”
