ATTT Recovers Nearly $4 Million Through Payment Settlement Campaign
Before the campaign began, the outstanding debt amounted to $59,450,806.91, ATTT indicated.
The Land Transit and Transportation Authority (ATTT) has raised $3,970,970.00 during the payment arrangement campaign, which began on June 2nd. According to the ATTT, $2,546,659.49 corresponds to the initial 10% payment required to qualify for the payment arrangement plan. To date, 5,119 payment agreements have been formalized. Before the start of the campaign, the outstanding debt amounted to $59,450,806.91, ATTT indicated. The debts are classified into three categories: $12 million pertaining to traffic courts, about $10 million pertaining to enforcement courts, and the remaining $37,450,806 pertaining to minor violations. At the same time, the entity has initiated a new phase of stricter oversight.
