If Mining is not acceptable for the Economy, perhaps Panama Tourism and Investors can Save the Day

Panama, which has always offered sun, beaches, shopping, and a wealth of history, is now adding new tourism alternatives, with investors exploring new specialties to create experiences, targeting more targeted travelers and generating added value to position itself against its regional peers.  Last year, the number of international visitors from around the world reached 2.7 million, while Tourist Income (TI) reached $6,000.2 million, representing an increase of 10.1% compared to the same period last year, according to preliminary figures from the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP).

In light of this, experts point out that Panama has enormous potential for tourism growth due to its economic stability, innovation, ease of doing business, and, above all, its air connectivity and hotel and service infrastructure.  During a Panama City forum, titled  “Tourism Industry: Achievements, Challenges, and Opportunities in 2025,”  held at the Panama Convention Center, industry stakeholders highlighted the need to provide new experiences and diversify tourism options for visitors, in addition to addressing investment development and planning to catapult the destination internationally.  If you have an interest in investments in Panama, join the investment club by emailing us at PanamaNewsroom@gmail.com and sign up for our monthly newsletter.
