Llano Marín, Coclé: The Astronomical Observatory of the Technological University of Panama (UTP), located in Llano Marín, Coclé province, is finalizing preparations for a new edition of astro camping that will take place this weekend. This event brings together amateurs and astronomy enthusiasts from all over the country to enjoy planetary observations and various educational activities.
The UTP Space Sciences Department, organizer of one of the most important events of the summer, has confirmed that the available places have been sold out and registrations are already closed due to the high demand of participants. Dr. Rodney Delgado, director of Space Sciences at UTP, said that they are prepared to offer the best astronomical show using their telescopes, as well as workshops designed for all ages. He added that it is not necessary to have previous knowledge of astronomy, although experts will also find activities of interest in a simple way.
