A US Citizen Has Been Arrested in the City of David, Panama

During a verification process in the City of David, Chiriqui Province, units of the National Migration Service (SNM) detained a 47-year-old American citizen, who had an arrest warrant posted in the USA. Local authorities are coordinating with relevant entities to proceed with the extradition and comply with international regulations.  Comments listed on the story were “The authorities should better screen foreigners coming into Panama as some of them may have pending court cases and arrest warrants in their home countries.
